Carl F Groupco appoints SmartSecure Business Development Manager

Phil Rice joins the management team of leading UK hardware distributor, Carl F Groupco. He takes the post of Business Development Manager for SmartSecure, the company’s new smart door locking and access control brand.

Phil is responsible for the new smart division that has been formed by Carl F Groupco to ensure full support for the new brand.The appointment underscores the importance of SmartSecure to both Carl F Groupco and its customers.



A strong career history for Phil Rice includes eight years working in a range of management roles for one of the largest global suppliers of intelligent lock and security solutions. Immediately prior to joining Carl F Groupco he was responsible for access control business development for a leading UK safety security protection company.



Commenting on the appeal of joining Carl F Groupco as it expands further into the smart sector, Phil Rice says: “The opportunity to work with smart locking was one I couldn’t turn down, it is one of the most innovative and exciting developments in the sector for many years.
