Call for abstracts for GPD 2025!

GPD 2025 will be held from Tuesday to Thursday, June 10-12, 2025, at the Nokia Arena, Tampere, Finland. With interactive sessions, two days of conference presentations, and the Step Change program, visitors receive an unforgettable experience of networking, learning, and professional development.

We are thrilled to announce the call for abstracts for our upcoming conference, focused on cutting-edge advancements and challenges in glass and glazing technologies.

GPD 2025 aims to deepen the understanding of glass’s diverse role and significance in a global context. This is your chance to present your research, innovations, and case studies to a global audience of experts and contribute to shaping the future of the glass industry.

Whether you’re pioneering new products, addressing architectural challenges, or advancing glass engineering, this platform offers a unique opportunity to showcase your work. Explore the topics below, align your abstract with the most relevant session, and join us for impactful discussions that will help define the future of our field.

Submit your abstract of a maximum 300 words via the online submission platform by November 1, 2024. The submission platform will open within the next weeks.

After your submission, your abstract will be evaluated by the Program Committee. If it gets accepted to the program, you will be invited to submit a full paper and prepare an oral presentation for the conference. Additionally, your full paper will be added in the digital conference proceedings book. 

Selected abstracts will be invited to publish a journal paper in the Glass Performance collection of the Glass Structures & Engineering journal, following a separate review and revision process.

Notification of abstract acceptance: January, 2025 

Paper deadline: March, 2025
