Bekaert reinforces its presence in the industry – October 29-31 – Booth 3305 Bekaert announces its participation at the FPD International Exhibition and Conference to be held in Yokohama, Japan, from October 29 through 31, 2008 at booth 3305.

The show, which acts as a major focal point for the flat panel display industry and which provides a vital forum for top executives, engineers and development researchers from among the global manufacturers of flat panel display applied products, will enable Bekaert to demonstrate the benefits of its solutions in rotatable sputter products.

Latest innovations in sputter targets, photovoltaic and flat panel display applications

Bekaert will provide extensive information about its latest technological innovations for rotatable sputter targets and sputter hardware for photovoltaic and flat panel display applications, bringing coating efficiency to a higher level. Rotatable magnetron technology has been a proven technology for 15 years in large area glass coating and will now demonstrate its importance in the flat panel display and photovoltaic industry.

Because of the swiftly expanding opportunities for flat panel displays, FPD International is an ideal venue for explaining all the possibilities presented by Bekaert’s sputter technologies. As a result, one-to-one management meetings for visiting customers and prospective users will be organized to explain in-depth the technique and its relevance to all flat panel display applications.

Koen Staelens, Product Market Manager Sputter Products at Bekaert concludes: "Bekaert greatly values the interaction with its customers and peers at events such as FPD International, which will contribute to and endorse the company’s commitment to further explore and meet customer expectations.”
