Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd. announced today that Jörg Raupach Sumiya has been nominated to join the Company’s Board as the new External Director, effective June 27, 2019.

The nomination is slated for approval at the 153 rd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on June 27, 2019. Following the shareholder approval, the number of Independent External Directors would increase to five, forming the majority of the Board of Directors with a total of nine members.
