Although the Tree Valley Park development project headed by the Chi Mei Group recently passed a final environmental assessment under certain conditions, Asahi Glass Fine Techno Taiwan (AFT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan-based Asahi Glass, said the company has not yet finalized plans to build a new plant in the park, according to a recent report from the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
