A neutral aesthetic designed for maximum solar control and energy savings - AGC Glass Company North America has launched Energy Select 23, a high performing triple-silver coating on a clear substrate that delivers a neutral aesthetic and slightly bluer reflected color, while also providing a 0.23 solar heat gain coefficient and 50% visible light transmittance.   This is the latest step in the development of AGC’s range of advanced coating technology since the launch of Energy Select 31 earlier this year.Available in annealed and post-temperable, Energy Select 23 is designed to achieve the highest level of solar control performance available, without compromising the neutral color desired by architects— keeping more heat out and letting natural light in to achieve greater indoor comfort and energy savings for the hotter climate regions.The full range of Energy Select solar control and passive solar low-e glass is available through a network of glass fabricators throughout North America.
