DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions has licensed its DuPont SentryGlas Expressions digital safety glass interlayer technology to Alaa International for Trading Services Company (abbreviated as AFI or Alaa For Industry), located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

AFI was established in 1984 and is now one of the largest and most diverse industrial companies in the Arabian Gulf.

The agreement allows AFI to produce and distribute high-definition, decorative printed interlayers to qualified glass laminators to meet growing demand for custom designed imagery and aesthetics in safety glass. AFI was chosen by DuPont Glass Lamination Solutions to expand the use of SentryGlas Expressions through AFI's strong regional market access and reputation for quality and service.

The decorative printing of the polyvinyl butyral PVB) safety glass interlayers will be done in AFI's Dammam facility, providing a faster, more efficient response to customer needs. AFI is the first SentryGlas® Expressions™ technology licensee located in the Gulf region. They are positioned to supply the commercial market immediately.

'In response to growing demand for innovative ways to combine safety and aesthetics in buildings, we are licensing trusted, high-value, high-quality partners to provide our decorative interlayer technology to architects, designers, builders and contractors around the world,' said Valerie A. Aunet, global marketing manager for SentryGlas Expressions. 'By increasing our collaboration and cooperation with important

companies, such as AFI, we can continue to deliver the high-quality imagery and design textures of SentryGlas Expressions to unique projects in their service area.'
