AFG Names New Chief Technology Officer

Brad Kitterman, president and CEO of AFG Industries has named Tadayuki Ooi as vice president of technical development and chief technical officer.





Tadayuki is currently an executive officer with Asahi Glass Co. and general manager of Japan Division, Japan/Asia, Flat Glass Co.



In his new assignment, Tadayuki will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic and long-term goals and objectives of the Research & Development, Technical Development and Technical Services organizations for AFG Industries. He will be responsible for the management of the Petaluma, (CA) R&D facility and its research efforts, product development, coordinating with the global AGC Research and Development community and managing shared development efforts, providing technical and process support to the primary, coating and fabrication processes and providing technical support to customers and resolving product problems.
