Date: 4 May 2012

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – (May 1, 2012) – ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minnesota-based damaged vehicle repair company and industry leader is accelerating its national expansion with the opening their newest franchise in Clarksville, Tennessee, just north of Nashville.

The announcement comes just days after the company acquired five corporate-owned centers in the region.

This is ABRA’s 40th state-of-the-art franchise located at 855 Kraft Street in Clarksville. It will be one of the largest collision repair centers in the area with more than 21,000 square feet of repair technology and shop operations.

Duane Rouse, President and Chief Executive Officer said, “This is a tremendous opportunity for ABRA and is in line with our national growth plans to open both franchise and corporate-owned centers.” The new franchise will be independently owned by the Wyatt-Johnson Automotive Group, the number one volume GMC dealer in Tennessee.

Mark Wahlin, ABRA’s Vice President of Franchise Development said, “We are extremely proud to welcome Wyatt-Johnson to our group of ABRA franchisees. Their dealer presence and reputation in the Clarksville market fit perfectly with our mission to be the best auto body and glass company in America.”

The repair center is a large and modern facility that can handle a great deal of volume. It’s conveniently located with lots of amenities. Dwayne Brown, Operations Director said, “When they see us, customers are going to be impressed.” With more than 60 years in the automobile business, the dealership sells new and used Buick, Toyota, Pontiac, Hyundai, Subaru and Mazda vehicles. “We are combining two body shops into one and look forward to doing business the ABRA way. We are quite impressed with the ABRA process and how well orchestrated it is.” Brown said.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass is recognized throughout the collision industry for its exceptionally low cycle times – in which cars are repaired on average four days faster than competitors. Tim Adelmann, Executive Vice President of Business Development said, “ABRA utilizes an operational excellence philosophy which significantly improves operating metrics. It’s what differentiates us from our competitors to getting it right the first time, on time.” ABRA is known as America’s Most Recommended for rating consistently high in customer satisfaction levels.

The company is continuing its aggressive national growth plans and actively seeking new opportunities to acquire additional repair centers in the region.
