In honor of the 50th anniversary of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Certification Gold Label, the association announced a search contest for the oldest in-service window, door or skylight bearing an AAMA air-water-structural certification label.

It would be an honor for a manufacturer to be recognized for the oldest in-service window, door or skylight, as it is a testament to the product’s longevity as well as AAMA’s Certification Program,” says Rich Rinka, AAMA's certification manager. “We are encouraging manufacturers to share the contest information with homeowners, dealers and distributors. In return, AAMA will work with the product manufacturer to promote the winning certification label.”
