We are looking to install approx. 177 sq. ft of glass floor in a residential apartment on the 55th floor of a poured concrete structure in midtown Manhattan. The purpose is to allow light from the floor above to brighten the floor below. We have limited exposure in this arena and require any resources that might be provided (ie. manufacturers, installation procedures, reccommendations, etc.)

I am remodeling my office area right now. Everything is going great except for my huge closet doors. My wife and I couldn't figure out what we wanted to do with them. So I came up with the idea of putting sand blasted glass in the middle of each door (6 of them). Now the problem we're having is that we can't find any sandblasted glass sheets to have cut down to size. We've tried every place in town here. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to buy sandblasted glass?

Does anyone know the industry standard for the installation of glass swinging doors?
