I recently took my vehicle in for service and they washed the car and cleaned the glass. Now my windshield has small chips in it all over. Some you can actually feel when you run your finger across them, they are that deep. Basically my windshield looks like a constalation, especially when the lights hit it at night.

Any thoughts on what could have caused this? I can tell you that on the same day they were using a compound to remove some tree sap from my vehicles finish and all I can figure is they used the same towel to wash my winshield with...

Can anyone tell me who may manufacture glass that still has bubbles, seeds, and slight wave to it as used in cabinets and windows around the turn of the century 1900. We are inquiring for a source.

If I have a European standard UNI 7142 for tempered glass is that the same as the ANSI standard Z97.1?

There are many tools to analysis of solid inclusions(so called glass stone). But sometimes it takes long time to analysis and you will be needed a lot of money to buy instruments. So if you attach photographs taken by polarizing microscope.I can help a little about probable sources of glass stones in products

I would like to have a sheet of glass span 12' horizontally and support roughly 8 lbs per sq. foot live load.

1. Is this possible.
2. What type of glass and thickness is required.

I am searching for a supplier of 100 test tubes, 19/1/2 in length and 1 1/2 inches in diameter made of glass with no measurements on it. The top/mouth/stopper should be conical in shape. It's use is ornamental and similar to a vase for flowers.

Does a 1/4" laminated glass with a make-up of
1/8 glass .030/.030 1/8" glass
have the same strength as a solid .060 interlayer?
Also is this an approved method of laminated glass by stacking interlayers?
