Heat transfer of glass

I'm looking for some form of glass, or glass with a coating that is highly effective at passing heat energy from a lightbulb, even to the point of absorbing the energy from the lamp side and radiating it to the room side. I want something that will reflect a very minimal amount - zero if possible.

this glass will need to stand up to fairly high heat conditions. I can work with sheet stock as long as it can be cut, drilled, etc. by the normal methods. If the sheet has a fine texture all the better. I would also consider something that may need to be custom molded.

Tempered glass recycling

I have a couple hundred pieces of tempered glass that were used for glazings on solar panels. I don't want to just throw them away because it's well over a ton of glass. Is there some place that I can take it to to have it recycled (the local scrap yard wants nothing to do with it) or a business that would be able to use it. I live in Southern California.

Exterior Sliding Glass Doors

I am building a new home and would like the back wall of the house to be sliding glass doors. The opening is 17 feet wide and 8 feet high. I am thinking of either a telescoping or side stacking track (like a storefront). The doors need to be insulated and weatherproofed for winter (moderate snowfall where I live in Canada). So far, the only company I can find that makes these is Nana Wall Systems. Very expensive and long lead time as they are made in Germany and then shipped to North America. I have been researching this for 3 months so any suggestions would be much appreciated!
