I have a customer who whats to replace all his glass with double glazing in wooden frames we will use adapter glaze to go into the frames with the double glazing he is wanting to know the best type of glass to use as he is going for funding from the govt for his eco house as a trial .
he is also a aircon installer by trade so he tells me he will have the house filled with postive presure to push the air out any gaps in the frames .
so all i need to find out is the best glass to use !!

We were recently in the process of installing a toughened 10mm glass panel (2000x900mm)into a frameless shower channel when it exploded. The panel was in mid-air when it happened and had not been knocked at all up to the point of explosion. however there was a long scratch on the glass which the manufacturer had pointed out on its arrival. Because the glass had taken 6 weeks to arrive our client decided reluctantly to take it-could this have affected its strength and cause the glass to explode?The glass company denied this but could not provide us with any other explanation.

Our company bought 2 new model of laminated glass kilns so we are looking to buy for interlayer films for architectural applications like evasafe but it's so difficult to find anyone knows something about it? bridgestone is not working on it well.

I have a 1955 Chevy Truck. I have chopped (removed) 3 1/2" from the top of my truck. Both the front and rear windows curve and "wrap around" I need to cut down the glass. Any suggestions ? I really didnt reasearch the complexity of this project before cutting up my truck. Could this be done on a water Jet ? anyone know of someone in Souther California who might be able to help. I do have accurate templates. I know time is money and this isn't a cry for free help. How ever it is a cry for help. Anyone have the time, tallent and temeperment for this kind of project. Can Someone please tell me what is a very smooth glass, that does not catch finger prints basically stays clean, only one side needs to be very smooth? It needs to be very smooth, slick, you get the point. I am looking for this to be inexpensive. We were going to try regular glass with a sandblast finish, but the prices they want are outrageous. Can someone recommend an inexpensive glass, or is there glass that can come pre-fabricated? or fabrication has to be done, but for a low price...

With all of the low-iron brands around it's difficult to get samples of each to dertermine the brand with the best color (or non-color). Can anyone give a good comparison between multiple brands of low-iron to tell if a color difference is present, or are they all the same?
