I am looking for some feedback between aluminium and silver mirror. is there any difference in quality .bangladesh is manufacturing float glass and they produce aluminium coated mirrors. i cannot see any diffrence really?

Can anyone explain how all the Glass Maufacturers in the UK manage to put their prices up at almost the same time (allow two weeks)and in the same format.
ie cost per mm,percentage,then variable on thickness.

Is this just Pure Coincidence?

IN MY CAR I HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED MY BROKEN WIND SHIELD GLASS. TO MY SURPRISE I FOUND THAT IT GOT CRACK AFTER SOME TIME WITHIN 3 HRS WITHOUT BEING HIT BY ANYTHING.
i have been told by somebody that poor quality of PVB layer shrinks with time. i had fitted newly produced glass.

DOES THE PVB LAYER SHRINKS with the passage of time?

How do you change glass in a steel commercial door, what should the thickness of the wire glass be.

I am about to renovate an existing conservatory and am considering self-cleaning glass for the job. I am torn between Pilkington "ACTIV" and Saint Gobain "BIOCLEAN". Can anyone please comment on which I should use ? Thanks.
