Removing of streak line on fogging mirror

I have just purchased and installed a mirror for my bathroom. Recently, i notice that there will be streak lines on the mirror whenever there is fogging. What i understand from my installer is that the lines is caused by a layer of wax which is applied on the mirror to prevent scratches on the mirror. If so, is there any way that i can remove the lines so it doesn't appear again when fogging? Tried removing it with glass cleaner.

Heated windows - impact on energy consumption

I am interested to the heated windows for architectural applications. Heated windows can certainly increase comfort of people, especially in cold climate. But what is the real impact of heated windows on the energy consumption of a building ? I found into the literature no information on this subject. Does someone have seen "neutral" studies talking about the effect of heated windows on energy consumption.
