im seeking for a quality float glass supplier ( 4 and 5 mm)for my automotive lami glass process. im currently operating in malaysia. so preferbly from this region.

I am installing an internal window in our house 130cm x 86cm. As it is above the stairs it is complying to Building Fire Regs. I have made the frame and beading from hardwood, as per spec, and sourced the correct glass. However the specs state that 5mm hardwood setting blocks are used. What is a setting block and what is the purpose of them? I am guessing that the glass will sit on it but why? Also would I create setting blocks for the full perimeter of the glass or is it just for the bottom of the glass? Any help would be appreciated

Does anybody know fastest Glass disloving chemical or process ?

We want to dissolve rejected laminated glass from one side and reuse the second glass.

We seem to see delamination upon the stress of neutral to high pH after Ammonium sulfate treatment. This seems to result from swelling, rather than shrinkage. Any thought on how this could be?

We are running across a large scale problem with brown clumps accumulating on our fused silica rollers in our horizontal tempering furnace. We have cleaned out our SO2 manifold and even swapped tanks - any ideas on what else to try?
The brown clumps are accululating sparatically across the entire roller hearth in odd corkscrew patterns, with the largest accululation in the last zone. I have pictures for those interested in helping me solve this problem.

Is there any requirement in BS 6206 for 6 mm Silver fitted to a wall with adhesive to be covered?
