Yale has launched the brand new Conexis™ L1 Smart Door Lock, putting homeowners fully in control of their home.

The new lock allows users to configure, control and unlock their door all from their smartphone via the new Bluetooth low energy app.

Offering multiple benefits for installers and homeowners alike, the new lock is suitable for PVCu and composite doors with a thickness of 44-70mm.

It has been designed to provide a high level of security, whilst at the same time offering a sleek and modern aesthetic. In addition to a tamper alarm, the Conexis™ L1 is PAS24 accredited.

Specifically engineered for easy installation, the lock is ideal for busy installers. It is compatible with most 92mm centred multipoint locks on the market and is easy to fit, only requiring a single screwdriver and tape measure. It also features a secure Push & Turn Thumbturn for additional convenience and added security.

Paul Atkinson, Sales and Commercial Director for Yale Door and Window Solutions comments: “We’re pleased to add the Conexis™ L1 Smart Door Lock to our family of Smart Living products.

The market demand for smart security solutions is increasing rapidly and as a result, we’re continually working hard to develop products that meet consumer requirements, while maintaining the high level of security Yale is known and trusted for.

“Like all our products, the Conexis™ L1 Smart Door Lock has undergone rigorous testing and is protected with our two year product guarantee. This product gives our trade partners an easy entry point into the smart home market, enabling them to capitalise on the new revenue stream.”

For ultimate peace of mind, homeowners can use the new lock create and send mobile keys to family and friends, and keep track of who comes and goes simply using a smartphone.

Thanks to the new Twist and Go functionality, users can also twist their phone 90 degrees to unlock the front door, as well as having the choice of key tag, key card or phone tag, depending on preference.

When linked with a Yale wireless module, users can connect the Conexis™ L1 to other Yale smart products, including the Yale Smart Home Alarm and Smart CCTV range, which can then be controlled with the free Yale app for a complete smart home experience.
