Xiuqiang Glasswork to set up PV unit

Jiangsu Xiuqiang Glasswork Co Ltd, a company which is principally engaged in the research, development, production and distribution of deep processing glass products, announced yesterday evening that it plans to set up a photovoltaic glass joint venture with a Nantong City-based company for RMB 20 million, sources reported.

The JV will be engaged in the production of photovoltaic glass for use in the country's building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) projects.



Jiangsu Xiuqiang Glasswork will invest RMB 14 million into the JV and take a 70% stake in it.
