Vitro Architectural Glass has announced the promotion of Fernando Diez to Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Diez will develop and implement global marketing efforts and lead four multi-regional teams in North America, including Vitro’s Sample Program and Center for Architectural Design.

“Through Fernando’s collaboration and marketing expansion strategies across North America, we’ve increased existing product awareness and sales and successfully launched new products and software,” said Ricardo Maiz, President of Vitro Architectural Glass. “His leadership in producing innovative digital tools like our VitroSphere™ Digital Glass Simulator and the emissions™ Carbon & Energy Calculator has been invaluable to our marketing efforts, as these tools support architects, fabricators and glaziers throughout the planning and design process. We’re excited to see what’s to come from Fernando’s new initiatives.”

In December 2022, Diez was promoted to Director of Marketing, leading initiatives across the United States, Canada, and Latin America regions. He joined the Vitro Glass team in May 2019 as Head of Marketing for Vitro’s Mexico business unit. Before joining Vitro, Diez worked in several marketing roles for the Dow Chemical Company. Diez earned his B.A. in International Business from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and his M.B.A. from the EGADE Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey.
