Being part of this select group of employers is a consequence of hard work and a joint effort to create a healthy and trustworthy work environment.”

He emphasized that beyond whatever products and services the Company produces; the most valuable component a corporation holds is its people.

“It’s because of this that I wish to personally recognize all company employees, staff and collaborators for their sense of loyalty and commitment. For over 100 years, Vitro has always been concerned with being one of the best options for employment, building a work environment that favors the development of its collaborator’s professional potential” he concluded.

Javier Uriegas De León

This way, we are continuously reinforcing both professional and emotional ties between the Company and our employees and collaborators.”

He added that the support of employees and staff of participating businesses, as well as their Human Resources departments and plant unions, had been an invaluable contribution that resulted in the acknowledgement of being among the best businesses to work in.

“It’s due to them, their effort, dedication and exemplary solidarity that we may today again address this accomplishment, which is made for a second consecutive year.”

The GPTWI evaluation is made based-on the results of a survey undertaken amongst the Company’s employees and staff, as well as an analysis of the practices and policies linked to their human capital administration. Broadly speaking, they evaluate: credibility, respect, impartiality, as well as pride and workplace solidarity.

This classification is made annually in over 40 countries around the world, including Mexico. The process of analysis, evaluation and certification is considered to be amongst the most important and thorough in the world. This ranking’s objective is to facilitate the gestation of knowledge and the sharing of experiences amongst all those corporations that recognize that the way to obtain the best results in business is to improve the quality of their workplace itself.
