Velux recognized by energy star

VELUX was recognized as an Energy Star Partner of the Year for its commitment to manufacturing energy-efficient products that save consumers money while protecting the environment.

VELUX received the award at a 10th Anniversary awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. The Energy Star program is sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE).

VELUX is the only skylight manufacturer to meet Energy Star guidelines in all climate zones with all products. Company skylight manufacturing facilities are ISO 14001 Certified.

The company demonstrates its commitment to promoting energy efficiency, energy savings and the Energy Star ideals through its advertising and promotional materials and activities, training and consumer education programs, packaging and participation in regional and national Energy Star promotions.
