Teal Products, the renowned specialist distributor has announced they will be exhibiting at The FIT Show 2019, aiming to highlight to visitors the benefits of the growing window control market.

The Gloucestershire-based firm will be heading to the NEC in Birmingham with their full range of openers, actuators and both manual and electric window control systems.

Designed for use in both residential and commercial applications, the Teal Products range allows installers to automate the operation of both windows and rooflights, and even create a smoke ventilation system.

“After a very busy and successful 12 months for the business, we are delighted to confirm our appearance at The FIT Show 2019,” comments Sam Yiend, Director at Teal Products. “With the increasing demand for our window control systems from installers looking to increase the value of their projects and diversify in a competitive market, the timing is perfect to head to the NEC and showcase our range to visitors.

“We also want to use the platform to answer those trepidations that some installers have which ultimately stop them from taking advantage of both this buoyant market and the consumer-led movement towards ‘Smart Homes’. In reality, it’s not as complex as they may believe, especially with our 17+ years of industry experience, full technical assistance and bespoke one-page instructions for each product helping to support installers every step of the way.”

This year alone, Teal Products has introduced a number of new products to its line-up. First, the firm added the new folding arm actuator from WindowMaster, which can open a side-hung window or door to 90-degrees in just 60 seconds. This was swiftly followed by the Micro Evo chain actuator from Mingardi which can turn an ordinary window or rooflight into an automatic opening device.

The MicroEvo is fully compatible with Teal’s range of electric control systems that can open and close manually via a switch or remote, or automatically based on a timer, thermostat, rain sensor, wind sensor or even a CO2 sensor - allowing installers to offer both an intelligent automation package to consumers and an effective smoke ventilation system for commercial properties and high-rise residential buildings.

Founded in 2000, Teal Products is one of the UK’s leading suppliers and distributers of manual and electric window openers, controls and actuators. Family-owned and family-run, Teal prides itself on its extensive product range from the industry’s leading brands along with its comprehensive customer service including technical assistance, training and after-sales support.
