SWISSPACER’s Caluwin: BFRC Approved

Date: 14 July 2015

The app lets users calculate how much energy and money their customers will save with their new windows. It’s available to download as an app for Android and Apple devices and it can be used online via SWISSPACER’s website.

The BFRC approval accredits Caluwin as a reliable tool for calculating WERs.

BFRC Technical Director, Gary Morgan, confirms: “The BFRC has thoroughly checked Caluwin and is satisfied that it gives the correct WER calculations.”

John Cooper, SWISSPACER Market Development Manager, adds: “Interest in our energy-calculating app has grown significantly since it was launched. BFRC approval was the next step for Caluwin. Of course WERs generated by Caluwin are indicative for guidance only and can’t be used for Building Regulation compliance.

“Caluwin’s a great tool to help sell windows,” John continues. “Customised versions are available for users who want the app tailored to what they sell.”

SWISSPACER, the leading manufacturer of warm edge spacer bars, offers a range of selling tools. Caluwin, sample cards, videos and more help sell the energy-saving benefits of warm edge and SWISSPACER.
