Yılmaz Erceyes, a leader with extensive experience in global markets, has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer of Şişecam. Erceyes will lead Şişecam’s vision of expanding the global reach and impact of its value‑added product portfolio, as the company delivers its products to more than 150 countries. In his new role, he will contribute to the implementation of Şişecam’s customer‑centric strategic priorities and help further strengthen the company’s sustainable and profitable growth journey.
Yılmaz Erceyes began his professional career in 2002 at Procter & Gamble in Belgium, where he held engineering and process control roles. In 2004, he moved into brand management and assumed leadership positions overseeing various product categories across European markets. Erceyes joined Premier Foods in 2015, first serving as Marketing and Category Director, and was appointed Chief Marketing and Growth Officer in 2019. During this period, he was responsible for the company’s marketing, innovation, research & development, customer analytics, mergers and acquisitions, and new ventures, while also playing a leading role in shaping the company’s 10‑year strategic growth plan.
Erceyes holds a double major in Food Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University. He continued his studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2015, he completed the Executive Leadership Development program at London Business School. With extensive expertise and senior leadership experience in marketing, sales, and operations within the FMCG sector, Erceyes will support the strengthening of Şişecam’s insight‑driven marketing strategies and contribute to the expansion of the company’s value‑added product portfolio and sustainable profitable growth targets in his new role.
