SGG BIOCLEAN is now available with a protective film on the coating side. This transparent plastic film is placed on the sheets at the Aniche factory.

The film-covered sheets can be cut and assembled in double glazed units.

The protective film has numerous advantages:

• Protection of the self-cleaning coating from the time it is made until on-site work has been completed
• The glass can be handled with suction cups
• Easy identification of the coated side
• No need for cleaning at site clean-up
• Easy to remove, by simply spraying water between the film and the glass
• Very good medium for communication (SGG BIOCLEAN is marked on the film)
This type of protection using a film is of interest to a number of customer segments:
• Industrial joiners
• Balcony builders
• Craftsmen
• …
Film-covered SGG BIOCLEAN is currently available in 4 and 6 mm thicknesses. To find out about the sites that are qualified or planned for processing film-covered SGG BIOCLEAN, please contact the SGG BIOCLEAN product manager in your country. A film application machine for processed products (mainly double glazed units) has just been installed at SGGS Emmen (Netherlands).
