Curtain wall, shop front glazing and commercial doors systems from leading fenestration designer and manufacturer Senior Architectural Systems have helped to create the perfect retail environment for two new cars showrooms.

The Harry Fairbairn Mini dealership in Kirkcaldy features Senior’s SMR900 curtain wall, which is ideally suited to meet the demands of the Scottish climate thanks to its robust construction and exceptional wind resistance properties.Installed and fabricated by Nortek Aluminium for main contractor Bell Buildings Projects, Senior’s curtain walling has been further complemented by the use of its commercial SD doors which together help to provide a light and welcoming space for customers.

Another leading car dealership to benefit from Senior’s extensive portfolio of products is the Inchcape Volkswagen showroom in Stockport. Appointed by main contractor Hantall Developments, installer and fabricator Crystal Architectural has created an eye-catchingly attractive façade using the thermally enhanced SMR800 curtain wall which has been perfectly integrated with Senior’s SFG shop front glazing system and SD automatic doors.

With a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality solutions for commercial and retail applications, Senior curtain walling and glazing systems have been designed to help specifers working in this market meet the required environmental requirements by creating high-visibility shop frontages that minimise solar gain to create a comfortable consumer experience.
