Schaffer to present legislation to help glass industry

State Sen. Tim Schaffer, R-Lancaster, plans to introduce legislation this week that could benefit Anchor Hocking.  His resolution will urge the U.S.

Department of Commerce to investigate cases of "dumping" products on American consumers from foreign companies that are subsidized by their governments. He is specifically concerned with the glass industry.

"The Chinese government will pay subsidies to glass manufacturers," Schaffer spokesman Justin Stanek said.
