all products are available in the following types:

natural surface: rough coating, like sand paper.
easy to fix with tile glue, very attractive in combination with light.
smooth surface: the natural surface is polished once and coated with a clear finishing layer.
dirt is hardly visible on this surface. it feels warm to the touch and is easy to clean and restoreable.
white background: the natural surface is coated with a white finishing layer.
the opaque background makes it possible to hide existing elements (e.g. a wall or old tiles) behind the glass panel. panels can be invisibly mounted with neutral silicone.

the look of sandglass can be changed by simply using a different background colour.
the background can also be used for text and advertising purposes.

+ all product types can be handled, cut and drilled just like normal float glass, including edgework polishing

+ the "natural surface" type can be laminated between two sheets of glass.

+ the resulting material can be used for any exterior application.

+ it can also be made bullet-proof.

sandglass uno: monochrome coloured sand

coating material: industrial coloured sand, round corn. coating thickness between 0.1 and 0.3 mm. standard colours: yellow, maroon, black, white, blue, grey.
mixtures of these colours, as well as a range of additional colours, are also available.
maximum size of sandglass uno panels: 230 x 140 cm (soon: 270 x 140 cm).

sandglass uno: natural sand

coating material: selected natural sands and polychrome mixtures of sand. coating thickness between 0.1 and 1.5 mm. colours: green, black, brown, grey, red, white.
additional colours, glass and sand types are currently being tested.

sandglass can be produced with nearly any kind of material that has a powder-like consistency.
glass powder, for example, produces an almost transparent coating. black sand, on the other hand, looks like translucent stone.

the colours can be customized by mixing the sand with colour pigment or other kinds of sand.

sandglass due: coloured and natural sand mixtures created by hand or with a special machine – polychrome patterns in free or predefined forms.

five different serial products currently illustrate the special options of sandglass due: edition one and edition terra verde (221.5 x 68 cm), as well as editions aqua, terra and sole (200 x 60 cm).

we have found many ways of producing different types of “stone coating” – both for serial production and for special designs.
thanks to electronically controlled production techniques, editions of sandglass due can be reproduced at any time.
maximum size of sandglass due panels: 221.5 x 68 cm (soon: 275 x 140 cm).

sandglass tre: with polychrome parallel lines.

up to ten lines in up to ten different colours, between 1 and 59 cm in width, are possible. the lines can be straight, curved or wavy.
maximum size of sandglass tre panels: 200 x 60 cm (soon: 275 x 140 cm).

+ both, sandglass due and sandglass tre panels can be combined in various ways. specifically, we will provide left-and a right-side panels, enabling you to create the symmetrical patterns of your choice.

sandglass cuboid light:

this is a series of floor lamps, developed in cooperation with a German light design company. this product illustrates the great potential of sandglass for lighting, interior design and architecture.
