Saint-Gobain Confirms 2011 Views As 1st Half Net Rises More Than 50%

French building materials group Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) Thursday said it is confident it will achieve its 2011 targets as it reported net profit rose to EUR768 million in the first half of from EUR501 million in the same period of 2010.
