With value added extras fast becoming the norm on many conservatory roofs these days Reflex are seeing a more savvy customer demanding higher specifications.

Sage green, beige, cream, dark grey and even black coloured roofs have all become the norm for Reflex with more than 10 roofs a week now being sent for painting as more and more people shun the white PVC box look. Aluminium top caps, frameless glass roof lanterns, climate control roof vents and contemporary finials are all in demand but most of all customers and architects are looking to improve insulation. In a recent study by Reflex Glass 90% of customers rated heat loss through a glass roof as their main concern, with energy costs rising again this winter and with many homeowners now exploring renewable energy projects the U-value has once again become king.
 
Reflex are offering a 36mm and 42mm Triple Glazed argon filled unit which can achieve a centre pane U-value of 0.6 W/m2K, that’s twice as good as many standard double glazed units and 40% better than anything other branded roof glass currently available on the market.
