Spectus windows and doors were recently installed in two refurbished prestigious holiday lodges at the picturesque Penllwyn Lodge site situated between Newtown and Welshpool in Powys.

The 19 individually architect-designed lodges are situated on 30 acres of unspoiled woodland.

Phil Jones of Penllywn Lodges has been installing Spectus window and doors in his lodges for over ten years. Phil explains: “The prestigious Penllwyn lodges are individually designed and we needed to work with a company who can offer the same high level of quality and detail when it comes to the lodges windows and doors. We work directly with Spectus fabricator Universal Trade Frames whose products provide the quality, aesthetic and thermal efficiency that we require.”

The windows and doors supplied by Universal Trade Frames are manufactured from Spectus’ popular Elite 70 system with ovolo beading. Both the windows and doors are produced in Golden Oak to complement the beautiful woodland location of the lodges.

The Spectus Elite 70 casement windows and residential doors offer everything Phil needs. The Elite 70 is a five-chamber system capable of achieving exceptional thermal efficiency – a factor that is particularly important in a wooden construction. It also offers state-of-the-art security to offer holidaymakers complete peace of mind.

It’s also clear that Universal Trade Frames delivers the kind of service that Phil values – not only does he return to the company each time he refurbishes a log cabin, he also turned to the company when he looked to replace window and doors at the club house restaurant and bar at the on-site golf course.

He says: “As a small business owner, you need suppliers you can trust. Universal Trade Frames deliver high-quality products and service and they’ve never let me down.”

Phil’s comments are the perfect illustration of what Spectus and Universal have to offer: high-quality products and service you can rely on.
