PPG Industries Inc., which supplies coatings, glass, fiber glass and chemicals, said Wednesday that Hurricane Katrina had a minimal impact on its operations.

The company said it experienced a brief interruption in water transportation and natural gas supply at its largest chemicals facility on the Gulf of Mexico.PPG said its Lake Charles, La., chemicals complex was not in the storm's path and is operating at normal capacity.
