PPG Industries cut to 'buy'

Credit Suisse First Boston said it downgraded PPG Industries Inc. PPG.N -- a maker of paints, stains, and other coatings -- to "buy" from "strong buy." The firm provided no further details about the rating change.

PPG shares ended Friday trading at $61.90, the top of its 52-week range on the New York Stock Exchange.
