Pioneering ClearShield Eco-System™ Proves a Hit at GlassBuild America

Date: 12 October 2015

Just over two weeks since GlassBuild America: The Glass, Windows and Door Expo, and Ritec are delighted to report positive feedback, new leads and early business opportunities as a result of their presence at the industry leading show.

Enjoying a busy three day event, ClearShield Technologies demonstrated how the ClearShield Eco-System™ for glass renovation, “non-stick” protection and maintenance gives glass processors, fabricators and installers the competitive edge by being the first and only technology with performance, added value and profit guaranteed at every step of the glass supply chain. As anticipated, interest from processors, fabricators, contractors, installers and shower companies was high.

Visitors were shown how the ClearShield Eco-System™ transforms new or old glass into a higher value product with low-maintenance performance, resulting in diversification leading to higher sales. Customers do not have to stock a new type of glass as Ritec's simple added-value package enables unprotected glass to be upgraded into ClearShield Eco-Glass™ in the factory.

ClearShield Technologies also showcased their latest projects, including treating all the glass aboard the MV Britannia cruise liner, the largest addition to the P&O fleet. The £473m ship, launched by the Queen is the latest in a long list of cruise ships to be treated with the award-winning ClearShield Eco-System™, which upgrades glass to ClearShield Eco-Glass™ providing protection from sea spray and other corrosive elements.

ClearShield Technologies also launched their search for new Marketing Partners at the show. Demand for the market leading system in a diverse range of market sectors such as Marine, Architectural, Decorative and Residential has fuelled the need for additional Marketing Partners in these areas. Its flexible Marketing Partner program based on the new ClearShield Eco-System™ enables clients to jump-start sales and provides initial and ongoing training, ensuring partners meet their customers’ needs in the renovation, protection and maintenance of glass surfaces in many different sectors.

Stephen Byers, Managing Director of Ritec International comments:

We are delighted to have been a part of something so prominent to the glass industry and to have the opportunity to meet so many prospective customers and potential marketing partners.
