Recognized as a Top Honoree in "Hiring Our Neighbors" Category - PGT, Inc. (Nasdaq:PGTI), the nation's leading manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors, was named a Top Honoree of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce "2014 Salute to Business Awards" in the Hiring Our Neighbors category.  PGT was recognized as one of three companies in the area whose local employee growth in 2014 was among the highest since the recession."We couldn't be more pleased that our recent hiring has resulted in a positive impact on the local community," commented Jeff Jackson , PGT President and Chief Operating Officer. This year's awards honored exemplary Chamber member employers in three categories: Hiring our Neighbors, Investing in the Future and Attaining Milestone Anniversaries of Service. Honorees were chosen based on a survey of member activity in these three key areas.
