MAPPI’s experience at the service of the entire glass supply chain

On 15 June 2026, the Members’ Assembly of GIMAV elected Nancy Mammaro, President and CEO of MAPPI International, to lead the Italian Association of suppliers of machinery, equipment, accessories and technologies for glass processing, for the 2026-2030 term.

For MAPPI this is a source of deep pride. The person who has led our company for over thirty years now takes on the responsibility of representing an entire sector, at a time marked by industrial transformation, the energy transition and new competitive dynamics in global markets.

Under her leadership, MAPPI has grown to become an international reference in furnaces for glass tempering and laminating, consolidating its presence in foreign markets and particularly in North America, where the company operates directly. Since the beginning of 2025, MAPPI has been part of the Voilàp Group, within which it continues its path of technological development and international expansion. It is this concrete experience, built on markets, customers and the day-to-day running of a company, that forms the foundation of Nancy Mammaro’s vision for GIMAV.

A vision that puts concreteness at its centre. A GIMAV closer to companies, able to listen to the real needs of the supply chain and turn them into action, and also to act as guarantor and authoritative voice of the sector at the tables that matter, in Italy and worldwide. The priorities of the mandate include strengthening representation and broadening the membership base, consolidating services to companies, a more proactive approach to internationalisation and the evolution of VITRUM into an international hub for the glass economy.

The President will be supported by a team made up of Nicola Lattuada, Senior Vice President, Francesca Antonini and Matteo Padovan, with the support of the new General Council and of Director General Lucia Masutti.

The entire MAPPI team and the Voilàp Group extend to Nancy Mammaro their pride and their best wishes, confident that she will place her experience at the service of the growth of the whole Italian glass supply chain.
