A world-first, SWISSPACER Triple is the only spacer bar designed specifically for triple glazing.

SWISSPACER experienced its most successful show yet at glasstec in September. The leading warm edge spacer bar supplier had a constant stream of visitors to its stand and double the number of enquiries than in 2014.

Visitors were particularly interested in SWISSPACER’s new product innovation, SWISSPACER Triple. A world-first, SWISSPACER Triple is the only spacer bar designed specifically for triple glazing. SWISSPACER Triple replaces two single spacer bars with a centre groove to hold the middle pane of glass in place, allowing sealed unit makers to use a slimmer 2mm or 3mm centre pane. The result is a lighter, more durable sealed unit that’s easier to install.

Other attractions included Caluwin, SWISSPACER’s energy-calculating app and the latest high performance ‘Roweldo XL’ welder by Rottler & Rudiger, which makes perfect SWISSPACER frames in around 30 seconds.

“With double the number of enquiries and a number of very strong leads, this year’s glasstec was our most successful yet!” confirms Jan Hiersemenzel, SWISSPACER Head of Marketing.

“We had a high volume of sealed unit manufacturers visiting our stand. The warm edge spacer bar is an important part of an energy saving window and manufacturers we spoke to were looking for the best performing bar.

They were particularly amazed with our new SWISSPACER Triple. We’re now busy following up the leads and look forward to our next big show, which will be FIT in May 2017.”
