Modum Glass Industri AS is a specialist in the production of processed tempered and laminated glass/ IGU applications for building, solar and ship/ offshore markets. Henning Austad, CEO of Modum Glass Glass Industri AS comments: "We have always tried to be a very flexible and innovative company who actively invests in new technology at an early stage. This is defined in our strategy plan as one of the most effective ways to keep ahead of our competitors.  As an example Austad mentions: "We acquired the first Intermac CNC processing line in 1989 outside of Italy (machine no. 19 in the world), followed by a vertical drilling line from Schraml (line no. 2 in the world) as well as a ceramic ink jet printing line from DIP-tech(machine no. 26 in the world).

We are a very progressive and young team. and are very excited and looking forward to this software implementation. From our point of view FeneVision ERP is a great software solution with a high degree of flexibility. Our judgement is that the FeneVision ERP will give us a great competitive advantage for the next coming years. "

Cato Ludvigsen, Plant Manager of Modum Glassindustri AS adds: ”One of the reasons for choosing FeneVision ERP, is that from our point of view, it looks like the most modern and innovative ERP system on the market today. We are sure that the system will fit our modern and complex production perfectly. Another  important module is the FeneVision web center, which we acquired as well from FeneTech Europe SARL. In our opinion Internet based customer service tools will be very important for the future of our industry. We are really looking forward to working with FeneTech Europe and their professional and experienced team".

Horst Mertes, CEO of FeneTech Europe SARL contributes: "FeneTech Europe SARL is extremely proud of having Modum Glass AS as a new customer paving us the way into the Scandinavian market place. I have said it many times in previous press releases: with FeneVision ERP the customer buys a modern, completely integrated product with the highest flexibility. With FeneVision, our customers eat "à la carte" and not from a preset menu. This is what the market wants today and our enormous success in Europe is the proof that we have the best software product on the market. We are looking forward to this partnership with Modum Glass Industri - for many years."
