Made For Trade are reinforcing their successful partnership with TuffX Processed Glass.

Growing bi-folds and conservatory supplier Made For Trade are reinforcing their successful partnership with TuffX Processed Glass, with the latter providing the glazed units for the new Korniche aluminium roof lantern.

Made For Trade’s relationship with the Merseyside-based glass manufacturer began in early 2013 with the range of product options offered putting them in front of their rivals.

TuffX have been supplying on average between 2500 units per month to Made For Trade for their bi-folding doors and conservatory roofs, with orders increasing year-on-year.

The success of the alliance has led to the innovative Korniche lantern roof also featuring TuffX glazed units.

TuffX’s Sales Manager, Andy Hayes, explained: “Made for Trade are one of the most professional, compromising and well organised companies we have had the pleasure to supply. They are always searching for new and innovative ways to stay at the forefront of their industry, all whilst maintaining the core elements from when business relations began.”

Andy continued: “We pride ourselves on offering its customers an exceptional level of service, unparalleled to any other out there - this is also to be found in Made for Trade, hence making it a perfect match.”

Bradley Gaunt, Made For Trade’s Managing Director, said of the partnership: “We chose TuffX over other glass manufacturers because the service they offer is second to none.

The customer service is excellent and you can always expect a quality product. Bringing them on board as our glass supplier has led to a genuine and loyal partnership between both companies.”

He added: “Here at Made For Trade, we share the same objective - providing top-range products at great prices. When it came to finding a glass supplier for the Korniche, TuffX were the first choice.”

The Korniche lantern roof has been fully designed and developed by Made For Trade and uses new parts that have never been used on previous systems.

Featuring a sleek, slim-line profile, hidden fixings and super-fast installation, the Korniche was unveiled to a rapturous response at the FIT Show earlier in the year.

The creation of the lantern has allowed the company to demonstrate that they are not only a manufacturer and supplier, but also a product design innovator.

Originally starting out as a local conservatory roof trade supplier, Made For Trade have grown significantly in recent years after expanding their services nationwide and adding the best-selling Visofold 1000 bi-folding door to their range.

Now operating over three sites in Stockton-on-Tees and employing over 80 members of staff, the company have recently moved into a new premises that houses the head office as well as production for the Korniche lantern roof.
