Welcome to the January issue of Glass International. This issue features a host of exclusives with some of the biggest names in the industry.

The magazine starts with a profile of Pochet Du Courval, which has recently upgraded its site in the Bresle Valley, France and an interview with its Managing Director Christian Durand.Next we have an exclusive interview with the Phoenix Award’s Chairperson Tim Park. The Phoenix Committee is due to meet in February to nominate the next winner of the award, and Mr Park gives an overview of the award and committee. In another exclusive, new Guardian Industries Flat Glass President Kevin Baird talks abut how he has got to grips with the role since his appointment. Ahead of the Glasspex exhibition in India, we provide an overview of the country’s container glass industry and outline the key players in the industry.
