The parties jointly announced their new collective bargaining agreement today, terms of which will be retroactive to June 1st, 2008.
“We were happy to work with the local Union representatives to reach a mutually beneficial agreement with our Glaziers. The 5 year term gives both our Union represented teammates and Reliant Glass & Door Systems a strong base and stability upon which we can reliably grow our company. We worked hard to get an agreement that satisfies the healthcare, retirement and wage needs of our team, and were able to help the local Union representation achieve many of their goals during the process” commented Jim Winistorfer, President & CEO of Reliant.
John Jorgensen, Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer of District Council 7, which represents Local 1204 said “Our membership unanimously ratified the new agreement, and we value this contractual relationship which continues to be a fine example of the cooperation between labor and management. Our members’ commitment to continuing education, working safer, harder and on-time continues to enhance our signatory contractor’s performance. They are proud of their union and being part of the Reliant team.”
