Iran: Glass production at 167,000 tons

Iran produced 167,000 tons of glass in the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 21).     This figure indicates a 3.7-percent growth compared with the corresponding figure of last year, which was 161,000 tons.

In this period, production of glassware, sanitary products and Chinaware amounted to 70,600 tons, 12,700 tons and 6,700 tons, respectively.

During April 21-May 21, glass production reached 89,000 tons.
