GlasWeld Launches New Technical Services Division

Date: 29 August 2007

Oregon-based GlasWeld, a complete solutions provider to the glass repair industry, announced that it has launched its new Technical Services Division.

While GlasWeld has always had an extensive laboratory for testing windshield repairs, the department has now been formalized due in part to the recent acceptance of the new ANSI standard for windshield repair.  GlasWeld representatives served on the cross-functional industry committee that developed and finalized the new standard. GlasWeld’s Technical Services Division will continue to provide scientific data on glass repair that will help to enhance the industry as a whole.
