High Springs n The first business slated for High Springs Industrial Park, a planned commercial area of the city off Poe Springs Road, is preparing for construction and an opening as early as next spring.

Sherer Studios, a glass fabrication business, has been in business for about 10 years in High Springs and 30 years overall.The business, already in a 10,000-square-foot building, will nearly triple in size to 28,000 square feet at its new location at what is known as High Springs Industrial Park, across from Santa Fe Truss.Richard Sherer, owner of the business, saw growing sales in North Florida and elsewhere about 10 years ago, and he moved from Boynton Beach to High Springs to be closer to those areas, he said.“We decided that we would follow the sales,” Sherer said of he and his wife, Marcie Sherer. “But High Springs is about the furthest north that we could stand.” Besides the sales issue, Sherer said, he also considered the move a personal decision and came to love the community.Read the entire news on the source link below.High Springs n The first business slated for High Springs Industrial Park, a planned commercial area of the city off Poe Springs Road, is preparing for construction and an opening as early as next spring.
