Potters Industries Inc. Announces Price Increase For Metal Finishing and Impact Glass Bead Products

Potters Industries Inc., an affiliate of PQ Corporation, announced today that, effective February 15, 2007, the price on all Metal Finishing Glass Bead and Ground Glass product shipments will increase up to 3 cents a pound.





Bill Shaker, Engineered Glass Materials (EGM) Marketing Manager, made the announcement noting, “While we try to curtail costs wherever possible and to minimize price increases, we find it now necessary to raise prices for our Metal Finishing and Ground Glass products due to the continued escalation in raw material and manufacturing costs. Potters remains committed to provide the best possible product, service and quality with the most favorable economics while continuing to explore new ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.”
