Saeed Sanati, Managing Director of Razi Glass, discusses the recently completed expansion at the company’s pharmaceutical facility in Tehran, which has increased production to a million bottles a day. Iran’s market is becoming more accessible to the West, and indeed Razi Glass worked with a number of European suppliers on this project, including Bucher Emahrt, Horn, Tiama MSC-SGC, and Antonini. We also speak to Gerresheimer’s Bruno Bürkel, Global Executive Vice President of Primary Packaging Glass, about the company’s cosmetics business. Gerresheimer manufactures more than one billion cosmetics bottles a year at its Tettau, Germany and Momignies, Belgium plants, and has recently invested in new, high-performance printing machines.
