The Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) is inviting applications Vice-Federation President, offering an experienced industry leader the opportunity to help shape the future of the Federation before progressing to the Presidency.

The successful candidate will work alongside the current Federation President during a planned transition before assuming the role of President at the end of the two-year Vice-President term.

The highly visible, non-executive position plays a key ambassadorial role, representing GGF members across the industry while supporting the Federation’s strategic objectives and championing the highest standards of professionalism, governance and collaboration.

The Vice-President will represent the Federation at industry events, awards and stakeholder meetings, attend Federation Advisory Board meetings, and work closely with the Federation Chair, Group CEO and Director, to make sure members’ priorities help shape the organisation’s future direction.

Lauren Mawford, Director at the GGF, said: “The Federation President is an important voice for our industry. We’re looking for someone who can unite members, champion the issues that matter most to businesses across the sector and inspire confidence in the value of working together.”

She continued: “This is a unique opportunity for someone with the experience, credibility and passion to help influence the future of both the Federation and the wider glass and glazing industry. We encourage applications from individuals who share our commitment to raising standards, supporting members and driving positive change.”

Applications are open to current GGF members who are respected industry leaders with a strong track record of engagement, collaboration and advocacy. Candidates should be ethical, inclusive and committed to representing the interests of the Federation’s diverse membership.

The honorary role requires a minimum commitment of 15 days per year, with travel to key events across the UK. While the position is unpaid, all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
