The Glass trade show has a new manager as of the end of June. Mateusz Szymczak was replaced by Marta Szydłowska, whose plans for the project development are very ambitious.

Marta Szydłowska has been the director of the Stone trade fair held in parallel since last year. She has been working in the construction industry for six years and gained her experience in the Budma project team. It is thanks to her competence that so many leaders of the construction sector visited the fair and she intends to use the good practices to develop Glass as well.

- I see great potential in Glass, which is why this project is a big challenge for me. Of course, the trade fair will continue to be a place to showcase machinery, equipment and accessories for the processing of flat glass. Automation in this sector is particularly noticeable and leading companies have already booked a place with us. My intention, however, is to pay particular attention to the potential of glass in construction, architecture and design. We have been observing these trends on global markets for a long time. I hope that having Glass together with Stone will be an opportunity to showcase the inspiring possibilities of glass and stone in this sector. We are actively working on the agenda of the trade fair. The team has a lot of work ahead of them, but I am optimistic that the upcoming edition will be even more interesting than the previous one- says Marta Szydłowska, the director of Glass trade fair.
