Behind many of the world’s most successful fabricators you will find machinery from elumatec, the world’s largest machinery company.

Forging a formidable reputation for almost nine decades as the global experts, their products shape the manufacturing processes of leading fabricators, including most recently High-Wycombe-based Hazlemere Commercial.

Combining both trade and commercial divisions as well as an installation wing, machinery plays an integral part in Hazlemere’s wide-spanning operations. The highly-regarded firm recently expanded and upgraded their line to include four brand-new CNC machining centres as well as two double-mitre saws.

“Hazlemere are well known in both trade and commercial circles for their quality and attention to detail. With such a large operation, the team were looking to advance their production process and maximise their output whilst maintaining their strong reputation for quality,” comments elumatec Regional Sales Manager Bryan Dando. “The addition of the SBZ 122 and three SBZ 140 eluCam machining centres, along with two double mitre saws allows Hazlemere to fully optimise their profile machining process.”

Mark Austin, Sales and Marketing Director at Hazlemere comments: “We are constantly investing in our state-of-the-art facilities to ensure we can meet the demand for our services and continue to exceed the high standards we set ourselves and that our customers expect. The new machines from elumatec allow us to increase our output without wavering on our commitment to first-class aluminium and uPVC products.”

The SBZ 140 eluCam is a highly-versatile four-axis machining centre which efficiently combines all machining operations including drilling, tapping and routing.

For complete accuracy and an uncompromised finish, the aluminium profile is stationary during operations, protecting every surface.

Using an intelligent eight-tool magazine, the SBZ 140 minimises tool changing times creating optimal machining cycles which streamlines the entire manufacturing process.

Along with the DG 104, a multi-purpose double-mitre saw which is suitable for both series production as well bespoke applications, Hazlemere also invested in a DG 244 double-mitre saw. A high-performance solution, the DG 244 is built on the proven elumatec principle of cutting from below.

The result is a comprehensive saw which can cut both high and wide profiles with length variants of up to 7,500mm. Complicated length calculations are eliminated with external dimension cuts possible for all cutting angle variants.
